Francis Ormond founded the Working Men’s College of Melbourne in 1887 as a private night school offering instruction in art, science, and technology in response to Australia’s industrial revolution. The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, payable after the first census date as a one-time payment towards future tuition fees.

not currently enrolled at RMIT University
Enroll for Semester 1 or 2 2023 in any Vocational Education, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, or Masters by Coursework programme provided by:

achieving a cumulative grade point average of 70% or equivalent in your most recent qualification
Provide either a 200-word personal statement or a 60-90 second video. Please describe why you believe you deserve the scholarship and why you would make an ideal RMIT Ambassador.
