Academic Excellence Scholarships for Latin American Students at RMIT University, Australia

RMIT University is delighted to announce the introduction of its Academic Excellence Scholarships for Latin American students for the academic year 2022-2023. These scholarships will support the students’ pursuit of higher education.

This scholarship is available to incoming international students from any Latin American countries who are enrolling at RMIT University in a Vocational Education, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, or master’s program.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students from Latin American countries are able to apply.
  • Students may apply to any Vocational Education, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, or Masters’s by Coursework program in Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain, Art, Economics, Finance and Marketing, Management, Property, Construction and Project Management, Architecture and Urban Design, Business and Law, Design, Education, Fashion and textiles, Global, Urban, and Social Studies, or Media and Communication.
  • Eligibility Requirements: In order to qualify, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
  • The applicants must enroll for Semester 1 or 2 of 2023 in one of the following programs: Vocational Education, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, or Masters by Coursework.
  • The applicants must be citizens of nations in Latin America.
  • The applicants must be from nations in Latin America.

How to Apply 

  • How to Apply: Students can use the university’s application portal to ask to get in. The scholarship application form needs to be filled out and sent in on its own.
  • Documents to Back It Up: The following items must be given to the university by the students:
  • Your passport copy (if available)
  • All papers need to be translated into English.
  • Syllabus (if applying for credit)
  • Resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Personal statement
  • Employers’ references
  • Letter from the person who gives the scholarship
  • Documentation about the tasks of selection (if applicable). Some programs ask for pre-selection kits, folios, and other things.
  • A research proposal with the names of two research supervisors and a list of published research (for Master by research and PhD program applications only).
  • Admission Requirements: Students must meet the requirements of the university to get in.
  • Language requirement: The students must send in the results of one of the following English tests:
  • PTE – 58
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • TOEFL IBT – 79
  • C1 – 176
  • C2 – 176


Application Deadline

Currently, applications are being accepted. The application deadlines for Semesters 1 and 2 are 31 January and 30 June 2023, respectively.
