RMIT University (officially Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, abbreviated RMIT) is a public research university in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Francis Ormond founded the Working Men’s College of Melbourne in 1887 as a private night school offering instruction in art, science, and technology in response to Australia’s industrial revolution.

After merging with the Phillip Institute of Technology, it was designated as a public university by an act of the Victorian Parliament in 1992.

Scholarship Benefits

The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, payable after the first census date as a one-time payment towards future tuition fees.

There are fifteen (15) awards available for the first or second semester of 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Be applying from Australia
Be an international student with a valid student visa or intend to apply for one prior to the program’s start date.
Not currently enrolled at RMIT University
Enroll for Semester 1 or 2 2023 in any Vocational Education, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, or Masters by Coursework programme provided by:
- Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain
- Art
- Economics, Finance and Marketing
- Management
- Property, Construction and Project Management
- Architecture and Urban Design
- Business and Law
- Design
- Education
- Fashion and textiles
- Global, Urban and Social Studies
