Up to $20,000. This sum will be used to fund a number of grants.

  • submit a final report.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must:

  • Be enrolled in a master’s degree program in the Faculty of Arts;
  • Indicate financial disadvantage; and,
  • Wish to pursue relevant research and study abroad.

  • specifics of your proposed study abroad program;
  • a 300-500 word essay detailing how you would utilize this scholarship and the beneficial influence it would have on your academic career.
  • a preliminary budget;
  • proof of completion and submission of the University of Melbourne Student Financial Assessment form
  • a minimum of one academic citation;
  • a current academic results statement; and
  • any more information that will aid the committee in making a judgment.
