CSC Scholarship 2023 Documents Required

Application form filled out: After enrolling on the official portal of the Chinese government scholarships, you will be able to find it.

    1. The highest degree and transcript were notarized.

    1. A copy of this form written out by a doctor must be attached. Ensure that the doctor has signed the paperwork and that it bears the official seal of the hospital or medical center where it was completed. On top of the previously connected card photograph, at least one stamp must be stamped. Forms that are more than 6 months old from the date of application will be rejected.

    1. Whether your CV is written in English or Chinese: it should include the following information. You can either attach a document with information on your expertise and academic interests, or fill out the relevant section of the application form directly (the space is quite short, I recommend that you attach this information in an attached document).

    1. Two letters of recommendation from your previous university instructors, either in English or Chinese.

    1. If you plan to study in English and are not from an English-speaking nation, you will need to take the TOEFL or IELTS exam. Each university specifies the minimum scores for both diplomas for each course category. You can also give a basic certificate showing that your last degree was taught in English if you don’t have an IELTS certificate. It’s referred to as an English proficiency certificate.

    1. Plan of Study / Research Proposal.

    1. Copy of a passport.

    1. Although an HSK diploma (level of Chinese) is not required to apply for this award, you must submit it if you have one. The Chinese government intends to fund up to two years of Chinese-language university education to ensure that you achieve the required level of Chinese for your selected program. If you already have a degree, though, your training will be less expensive, increasing your chances of receiving the grant. This rationale does not apply to English-taught courses, because enrollment rates in these courses are twice as high as in Chinese-taught courses.

    1. Another significant but optional prerequisite is an acceptance letter from professors at the Chinese university to which you wish to apply. Some institutions prefer applicants who have received an acceptance letter, while others do not. However, getting an acceptance letter is a wonderful symbol for you. If you are applying to a university with a limited number of places, you should additionally request an acceptance letter; you will be given priority. If you are applying to a high-ranking university or university, you should request an acceptance letter; you will be given priority. Begin emailing professors for acceptance letters in October. Search for professors in your prospective university’s field of study and send them emails; please do not steal emails from others and make them your own.

    1. Tips: How to find faculty of your desired university? Just go to google.com and write the University name for example Zhejiang University Faculty of Biochemistry or Life Sciences. You will see the faculty list. Email to the Professor, if he or she is not replying, don’t start shelling emails because they might be busy or they don’t need any new student

    1. A pre-admission letter from the destination university is another crucial but optional prerequisite. This letter indicates that you are desired as a student by the university. It is, however, difficult to acquire unless you have studied at that university and are known for your achievements. It has the advantage of increasing your chances of being offered a scholarship for that university. If you don’t have one, you may be sent to a university of your choice (during the application process, you have the option of selecting three colleges in order of preference) or, in the worst-case scenario, to any university they choose.

    1. Other documents: You must attach any research publications or other distinctions you have.

  1. If a Chinese university demands an application screening or a cost for the application procedure, fill out the form and submit it. Its receipt should be printed and attached to the two sets of paperwork indicated above.

Note: To ensure that your CSC scholarship application paperwork arrive on time, it is recommended that you use a reputable courier service to mail them straight to the Chinese University’s address.

Are you considering studying in China? This is everything you need to know about one of the most amazing study abroad destinations.

(1) Education of the highest caliber

With 377,054 international students in 2020, China is becoming a more accessible destination for international students, thanks to English-language programs and partnerships with nearly 70 countries to ensure mutual recognition of academic degrees.

Countries recognize the importance of allowing foreigners to study in their universities in order to compete in the global economy, and China is making significant efforts to promote opportunities. They have strong affiliations to colleges in the United States, including Stanford University and New York University. The group has also received national attention, and it was the subject of a speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama in 2014.

Furthermore, the government’s involvement in Chinese institutions aims to achieve a high standard of education across the country. You may be confident that your education in China will be of the highest quality, regardless of where you choose to study.

(2) Opportunities for Professional Development

China recently surpassed Japan as the world’s second largest economy, implying that there are an increasing number of job opportunities for international students! If you want to work in a Chinese company, you must be able to communicate in their language and understand their culture.

Working in a Chinese company will provide you with the possibility to flourish in practically any major economy. As an international student, you will learn the language, become acquainted with the culture, and gain an understanding of the labor market, all of which will give you an advantage in the job market. Take a peek at these English-taught programs at these universities.

(3) Living Expenses

China’s daily cost of living is significantly lower than that of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. A huge dinner will set you back roughly £2 to £3, while a circular ride on public transportation would set you back less than 50 cents. The study visa costs £ 75, which is far less than the visa required to visit the United Kingdom.

Rent, which might be one of the most expensive aspects of living overseas, is also quite low. The average monthly cost of a dormitory in Beijing, China’s capital, is £112.

(4) Unrivaled Knowledge

With a history spanning over 4,000 years, the Chinese have been pioneers in practically every field, including business, astronomy, martial arts, philosophy, and mathematics, as well as making significant contributions to the fields of art, literature, and religion. Although adjusting to Chinese culture can be tough at first, the experience of being immersed in such a diverse and evolved society is unlike any other.

China is also one of the world’s largest countries. The landscape varies from the Himalayan highlands in the southwest to the Gobi Desert in the north, with mountains or beaches depending on where you are in the coastal east. Due to the railroads that connect the major cities, exploring this wonderful nation is also possible, even at high speed (and at a reasonable price!). Whatever part of China you choose to study in, you can be certain that it will change your life and provide a memorable experience!
