DAAD is a private, federally and state-funded, self-governing national agency of German higher education institutions, representing 365 (100 universities and technical universities, 162 general universities of applied sciences, and 52 colleges of music and art) [2003].

The DAAD does not offer study programs or courses, but awards merit-based grants for study and/or research in Germany at authorized German universities. The following will be provided to the applicants who are successful:

850 euros per month for graduates and 1,200 euros per month for doctorate candidates.

Requirements for German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Masters Scholarship Qualification

Applicants from developing nations are eligible for the scholarship.
The applicants must be educated university graduates.
Candidates ought to have finished their Master’s or PhD programs.
Candidates ought to be working at a university in Ghana.
