The Francis Regan Student Scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to a student enrolled at Flinders University in an Honours or Masters degree programme in Business, Criminology, Government, or Law who is conducting research in any area of social justice.
Scholarship awarded to a student who has demonstrated commitment to social justice issues through employment, study, volunteer work, or other means.
The scholarship was established in memory of Professor Francis Regan, who was a Legal Studies professor at Flinders University until his passing in 2009. Professor Regan was deeply committed to the field of social justice, so his family, colleagues, and friends have established a scholarship for a student working in this area.
