The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships 2022 are open to applications from students studying internationally and those living overseas.

Scholarship Benefit:

The following expenses, including as tuition, books, and living expenses, will be covered by the Friedrich International Student Scholarships:

  • If you are in the final year of your degree program, you will be paid a monthly stipend of EUR 750.
  • An annual Master’s course stipend of EUR 850 per month.
  • Scholars with a kid receive a family allowance of EUR 276 and health insurance costs are covered.
  • Repayment of the scholarship is not required in any way.

Scholarship Eligibility:

For Undergraduate and Masters:

  • The confirmation or proof of attendance at a German state or state-recognized university or technical college for the course for which they are seeking financial assistance.
  • Applicants from other countries must also demonstrate that they have an adequate command of the German language.
  • Before or at the beginning of the first semester, first-year students (Germans and international students with education) must apply.

For PhD:

  • Admission to the doctorate fellowship is automatically and unconditionally communicated.
  • Applicants from other countries must also demonstrate that they have an adequate command of the German language.

Academic Requirements:

  • Academic or educational excellence at the highest level (where required: first graded proofs of academic achievement).
  • Individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and committed to the Foundation’s mission.
  • Commitment to the principles of social democracy through social and political participation.\
