The Fulbright-IIE Global Democracy Ambassador Scholarship is available to all-interested Ukrainian students. This Award is comprised of many $5,000-$25,000 grants.
This application seeks to provide financial aid to Ukrainian students who aspire to pursue higher education in the United States.
Applicants must be Ukrainian citizens studying in an undergraduate programme at a Ukrainian university to be eligible for this application. This application has an open application deadline.

About the Programme
Chef and humanitarian José Andrés, global human rights and pro-democracy activist Garry Kasparov, social entrepreneur and KIND Snacks founder Daniel Lubetzky, and retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman are co-chairing the Global Democracy Ambassador Scholarship to assist Ukrainian students in continuing their education, educate global peers on the fragility and significance of democracy, and inspire the world to remain engaged. Professionally, the scholarship will benefit awardees as they will be able to share their insights with others and learn from field specialists.
Several grants between $5,000 and $25,000 make up this Award.

In Phase I, the program will provide financial assistance to ten Ukrainian students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the United States during the academic year 2022-2023.
In Phase II, ten Ukrainian students enrolled in undergraduate programs at Ukrainian universities will be supported. The award in Phase II will help Ukrainian students who wish to study abroad in the spring and/or summer of 2023 at an American university.
Scholars will receive up to $25,000 for necessary tuition expenditures and a $5,000 stipend for living expenses.

To participate in this significant exchange, students must submit an application. The application is available online and must be completed in its whole.
Applicants must include their contact information, educational background, and present occupation.
Applicants must also submit a 500-word essay detailing why they wish to engage in the exchange and what they hope to gain.
The application will be out between the beginning and middle of October.
