Do you intend to study in the department of Accounting DELSU for the 2025/2026 academic session? DELSU has proposed a new admission system for the department Business Education. This blog post is to guide you in how to go about it.
The calculation includes five topics: your four core JAMB subjects (English Language, Mathematics, History and Government),, as well as one additional applicable subject such as Geography or Economics. Simply add the points for these five subjects to acquire your O'Level component, which has a maximum of 30 points.

DELSU is no longer using Post UTME to give student admission into the department of Accounting for the 2025/ 2026 academic session. DELSU has been modified the admission system for the department of Accounting2025/2026 academic session. How to Calculate Your DELSU Aggregate
DELSU admission requirement for 2025/2026 academic session to study at the department of Accounting has been modified. Your admission for the academic session for 2025/2026 is based on your JAMB score (70%) and WAEC/NECO (30%). This means no more Post UTME examinations, saving you the stress of traveling to Delta State, Abraka to write the exams.Step 1 – Calculate Your JAMB Component
Note: Your JAMB score now covers 70% of your admission and the WAEC/NECO 30%. Your JAMB score contributes 70% to your total aggregate using this formula: (Your JAMB Score ÷ 400) × 70. To calculate this, divide your JAMB score by 400, then multiply the result by 70. For example, if you scored 289 in JAMB: 289 ÷ 400 = 0.72, then 0.72 × 70 = 50.4. Student Profile: JAMB Score: 289, O’Level Results: B2, B2, B2, B2, B2 JAMB Calculation: 289 ÷ 400 = 0.72, then 0.72 × 70 = 50.4 points O’Level Calculation: B2 (5) + B2 (5) + B2 (5) + B2 (5) + B2 (5) = 25 points Final Aggregate: 50.4 + 25 = 75.4 out of 100 This student’s aggregate score is 75.4, which will be compared against the departmental cut-off when released.
