No, DELSU is no longer writing post UTME exams. For the 2025/2026 academic session, DELSU devised a new admission system for student to gain admission into the department of Agronomy. DELSU has completely changed their admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. Instead of using your JAMB score + POST UTME aggregate to give you admission, your admission would be processed using your JAMB score + O’ Level grades. This admission process has made things easier for student as you won’t have to travel a long distance to write the exam for a day and travel back the next day. Requirements to Calculate Your DELSU Aggregate

You need these subjects for Agronomy aggregate calculation:

1. JAMB Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and Geography/Economics/Physics/Mathematics
2. O’Level Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology or Agricultural Science, along with any other approved subject, such as Geography or Economics.

How to Calculate Your DELSU Aggregate

The admissions procedure for DELSU has been modified for the 2025–2026 academic year. As of 2024 and the previous years, JAMB score (60%) and WAEC/NECO & GCE (40%) were utilized, presently, DELSU uses your JAMB score (70%) and WAEC/NECO (30%). Note: Your JAMB  score now covers 70% of your admission and the WAEC/NECO 30%. Your JAMB score contributes 70% to your total aggregate using this formula: (Your JAMB Score ÷ 400) × 70. To calculate this, divide your JAMB score by 400, then multiply the result by 70. For example, if you scored 290 in JAMB: 290 ÷ 400 = 0.725, then 0.725 × 70 = 50.75. Your JAMB aggregate is 50.75 out of 70 possible points.
