Instead of using your JAMB score + POST UTME aggregate to give you admission, your admission would be based on your JAMB score + O’ Level grades. Requirements to Calculate Your DELSU Aggregate

You need these subjects for Fisheries aggregate calculation:

1. JAMB Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and Geography/Economics/Physics/Mathematics
2. O’Level Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology or Agricultural Science, along with any other approved subject, such as Geography or Economics.

How to Calculate Your DELSU Aggregate

DELSU has introduced a new admission system for the 2025/2026 academic session which comprises of your JAMB score (70%) and WAEC/NECO (30%). This means no more Post UTME examinations, saving you the burden of traveling to Delta State, specifically Abraka, to write the exams.

To calculate this, divide your JAMB score by 400, then multiply the result by 70. For example, if you scored 220 in JAMB: 220 ÷ 400 = 0.55, then 0.55 × 70 = 38.5. Your JAMB aggregate is 38.5 out of 70 possible points.
