Scholarship Benefit
Full tuition cost or $20,000 per year paid directly towards tuition expenses for the minimum duration of the program.
Australia’s Global University Award: $10,000 for a period of one year. In the second term of the student’s first academic year, payment will be made toward tuition expenses.

Eligible Field of Studies
Scholarships for the PhD program at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be enrolled in a UNSW PhD or Master’s degree in a field relevant to E&H’s research priorities.
- Applicants must be international students pursuing full-time study in a UNSW Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree program (excluding PG online and UNSW Canberra) in Term 3, 2022.
- Applicants must satisfy all University entry requirements.
- The applicants recommend meeting the university’s English language requirement.
How to Apply
Students must have received an offer of admission* into a qualifying program for Term 3, 2022, by July 31, 2022, in order to be eligible for the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship. The selection criteria (above) must be supported by evidence in your online application. For a complete list of examples, please see the scholarship application supporting documents.
All qualified students who have been offered admission to UNSW for Term 3 of 2022 will be automatically considered for Australia’s Global University Award. No specific scholarship application or any supporting materials are required in order to be taken into consideration.
