Lakehead University 2023 International Lakehead-Georgian Rewarding Excellence Scholarships, Canada

Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships will be considered for non-Canadian citizens entering Lakehead-Georgian from high school or transferring from an international college or university.

The scholarship is open to top international students applying to Lakehead-Georgian for the academic year 2023-2024. In addition to the entrance scholarships (based on academic achievement), international Lakehead-Georgian students beginning in Fall 2023 are eligible for the $4,000 International Visionary Award:

  • $10,000 divided by four years. Renewable if an average of 90.0% is achieved in each academic year. If a student’s university academic average falls between 80.0 and 89.9%, the student will receive an amended scholarship worth $7,500 CAD/year for the remainder of the scholarship term.
  • $7,500 divided by four years. Renewable if an 80% average is maintained in each academic year.
  • In year one, three non-renewable, one-time-only scholarships are awarded.
  • The scholarship term can last up to four academic years or until the first degree is awarded, whichever comes first. To be considered for a scholarship, recipients must be in the first, second, or third years of a four-year undergraduate degree program.Recipients whose status changes and they may be charged domestic fees will have their scholarship value recalculated to correspond to the domestic entrance scholarship grid and regulations in effect at the time.
    • Only entries for the Fall 2023 International Visionary Award will be accepted.
