The ESL Graduate Bursary for International Students at Canada’s University of Saskatchewan.

The College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (CGPS) English as a Second Language (ESL) Bursary is an assistance program for international graduate students who want to improve their English skills.

Graduate students can apply for ESL bursaries in the following courses: Pronunciation, Spoken English (general speaking and listening abilities), Effective Writing, and Grammar (reading or general writing and grammar skills).

The scholarship application deadline is divided into three parts: Fall term (September – December) – August 1st of each year, Winter term (January – April) – December 1st of each year, and Spring/Summer term (May-August) – March 1st of each year.

International students are entitled to apply for the bursary, which can only be used in Canada.

Ursula Henriques MA Scholarship at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom

The Ursula Henriques Scholarship for postgraduate research programs is now accessible at Cardiff University for all MA programs.

English proficiency is a requirement for admission. In 2019-2020, the award was utilized to provide two one-year partial fee scholarships of £2,500 on a competitive basis for postgraduate applicants with an offer of a seat in a master’s program in the School to begin in 2019.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email immediately after the Go Overseas campaign finishes, and the winners, who will have been encouraged to apply through, will get an offer letter specifying the original charge less the €2000.

Students with a GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale are more likely to get shortlisted (depending on their US University/College and statement).

USEFP Fulbright Degree Program for Pakistani Students in the United States

Applications are now being accepted for the Fulbright Degree Program, which allows Pakistani students to study in the United States. Tuition, mandatory textbooks, airfare, a living allowance, health insurance, and the visa application process are all covered by these funds.

Non-Chinese students in China can now apply for the new Chinese Government Scholarship- Changchun University of Science and Technology Program.

The MOE established this full scholarship to assist Changchun University of Science and Technology in recruiting exceptional overseas candidates for graduate studies in China.

Scholarships are available for pursuing a Masters degree program in English. Scholarships include tuition waivers, housing, and medical insurance. A CNY 3,000 stipend is provided.

Scholarship recipients who register on or before the 15th of the registration month will receive the entire monthly living allowance.

Recipients who register after the 15th of the registration month will get half of the monthly living allowance.

AMINEF Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship for Indonesian Citizens in the United States

For applicants with a bachelor’s degree, the American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF) is offering a Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship.

The Scholarship is available for pursuing a Master’s degree program in English. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, a TOEFL ITP score of 550, or an IELTS equivalent.

Fulbright Master’s Degree Fellowships in Israel for US Citizens,

The US-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) is now giving Fulbright Master’s Degree Fellowships in Israel.

Up to six grants are available for US citizens to pursue a Masters’ degree at an Israeli Institute of Higher Education.

The deadline for applications is October 9. There are fellowships available for Master’s degree programs in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Full tuition expenses for the MA degree (in the amount of $17,000), a living stipend of $13,100 for the entire academic year Limited health insurance for the grantee, as well as mandatory orientation meetings in the United States and Israel, as well as additional grantee events throughout the year.

OAS-NYIT Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship in New York, USA

Excellence Scholarships for International Students at Switzerland’s University of St.Gallen

The University of St.Gallen now offers two types of Excellence Scholarships to international students: Excellence Scholarships and the Starr International Foundation Scholarship Fund.

These merit-based scholarships are available for the Autumn Semester. Typically, the application deadline is eight days before the HSG admission test.

English-language programs for Master’s students are eligible for scholarships. Scholarship payments of CHF 15,000 per program will be distributed each year.

The Advice Center for Study Funding identifies exceptional students based on a variety of criteria and then requests additional documentation.

This scholarship is available to international students every year; six scholarships will be offered to students in the Assessment Year and will be paid out over a three-year period.

IED Masters Partial Scholarship for International Students in Italy and Spain

The IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and the Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli – IED Como are now accepting applications for up to 17 scholarships covering 50% of tuition fees for Master programmes in Milan, Rome, Turin, Florence, Venice, Cagliari, Como (Accademia Aldo Galli), Madrid, and Barcelona.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the course language at the B2 level or higher in order to apply. The submission deadline follows the intake dates for the courses.

Scholarships are available to pursue a Master’s degree program in English. The IED and Accademia Galli provide 19 scholarships that pay 50% of the tuition fee for Master’s programs.

AAUW International Fellowships for Women in the United States

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) provides International Fellowships to women who are neither US citizens or permanent residents for full-time study in the US.

Graduate and postgraduate English language study at approved universities are also funded.

The deadline for this scholarship is November 15th (annually), and the next semester begins in July.

The value of this scholarship for a Master’s/Professional Fellowship is $18,000 USD.

Fellowship for Global Leaders at George Washington University

The Global Leaders Fellowship is for prospective graduate students at George Washington University. The course begins in September  and the application deadline is February 8. (annual).

Three grants will be offered to Master’s degree students to study any course of their choice on the main Foggy Bottom Campus, including English.

Students from China (PRC), Cambodia, Eastern Europe, Laos, Latin America, The Caribbean, Mongolia, Sub-Saharan Africa, USSR Successor States, and Vietnam are eligible to apply.

This scholarship is worth up to 18 credit hours. Successful students will need to find additional funding for books, living expenses, and other expenses.

The Fellowship is renewable for a total of three years for Master’s candidates and up to five years for doctoral candidates.

Chevening Scholarships for International Students in the United Kingdom

The British Chevening Scholarships are funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and are awarded to students from all over the world to study for a Master’s degree in English at an institution in the United Kingdom.

Each year, about 1,500 Chevening scholarships are offered, each of which includes tuition, a living allowance, and airfare to and from the United Kingdom.

Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students in Australia

The Endeavour Postgraduate Awards give complete financial support for international students studying in Australia for a Masters degree (up to two years) in English.

The scholarships cover travel and tuition expenses, as well as health and travel insurance and a monthly stipend.

Asia and the Pacific EWC Graduate Degree Scholarships

The East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship provides up to 24 months of funding for Master’s or Doctoral degree study for graduate students from Asia, the Pacific, and the United States to participate in the East-West Center’s educational, residential, and leadership development programs while pursuing graduate study at the University of Hawai’i.

The Tuition charge and Living Allowance cost are covered by the Full Scholarship, while the Partial Scholarship simply covers the Tuition fee.

Scholarships for Eric Bleumink at the University of Groningen

The Eric Bleumink Fund provides scholarships to deserving students from underdeveloped nations. The scholarships are for a one-year or two-year Master’s degree program in English at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

The application date is December 1st (annually), and the course begins in September. The stipend covers tuition, overseas travel expenses, sustenance, books, and health insurance.

UNIL Master’s Grants for Foreign Students in Switzerland

The University of Lausanne in Switzerland offers competitive UNIL Master’s Grants to overseas students who intend to pursue a Masters Degree in any discipline at the University, including English.

Because the course begins in September, the application deadline for this scholarship is November 1 (annual).

About ten scholarships will be awarded for the minimum statutory length of the student’s chosen program. With the exception of cases of decisive failure after the first year, it amounts to CHF 1,600 each month from 15 September to 15 July (or 10 months per year) for the entire term of the masters (one and a half years or two years depending on the chosen masters).

Scholarships for International Ambassadors at the University of West London

The International Ambassador Scholarship is now available to provide financial support to outstanding students who aspire to serve as University of West London ambassadors.

Applicants can apply to study for a Masters degree in English before the deadline of 15 July/25 November (annual), as the course begins in September/January. Non-EU International Students will be eligible for up to 50 scholarships.

These scholarships range in value from £5,000 to £10,000. The scholarship provides a tuition reduction exclusively for the first year of study.

Holland Scholarship for International Students from Non-EEA Countries

The Holland Scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science and is intended for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who aspire to pursue a master’s degree at one of the Dutch research universities.

The deadline for applications is February 1st/May 1st, 2020. (annual). This €5,000 scholarship is available for one year and can only be obtained once.

ENS International Selection Scholarships are ranked 25th.
Every year, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international fellowship for deserving international students to pursue a Masters Degree in English at the university level.

The application date is October 19/31 (yearly), and the Course begins in September.

This scholarship includes a monthly grant of 1,000 Euros and a lodging on one of the ENS campuses for three years.

Excellence Masters Scholarships at ETH Zurich

ETH Zurich now offers two scholarship programs to outstanding individuals interested in pursuing a Master’s degree at ETH: the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) and the Master Scholarship Programme (MSP).

The application date is December 15th (annually), and the course begins in. The Excellence Scholarship (ESOP) is an award that covers living expenses, tuition price waivers, and study expenditures (CHF 11,000 per semester).

The Master Scholarship (MSP) includes a living stipend, tuition fee waiver, and study expenses (CHF 6,000 per semester).

The department may also grant a scholarship of CHF 1,500 – 3,000 per semester or an assistantship beginning in the second semester (with a payment of CHF 600 per month).

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship Program for Foreigners is designed for international students who want to pursue a Master’s degree in English at a German university.
