About the Robert Gordon University
Robert Gordon University, abbreviated as RGU, is a public university in Aberdeen, Scotland. It evolved from an educational institution founded in the 18th century by Robert Gordon, a prosperous Aberdeen merchant, and various institutions that provided adult education and technical education in the 19th and early 20th centuries to become a university in 1992. It is one of the city’s two universities (the other is the much older University of Aberdeen).

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must:
- Apply to start either year 1 or year 2 of an undergraduate course at RGU.
- Hold a full-time on-campus undergraduate course offer from Robert Gordon University.
- Be classified as an international or European fee payer by the university.
- must be a self-sufficient student
- Apply for the September start date. Students enrolled in the January start, fast track programme are eligible to apply for this scholarship when they begin their second year in September of the same year, but students enrolled in the January start shorter programme are not.
- Be willing to embody the experience by participating in extracurricular activities and to serve as an ambassador for Robert Gordon University by promoting the benefits of studying at Robert Gordon University.
- Upload all required documentation (proof of qualification, passport, personal statement, and English language evidence) by July 7th. Please notify us at [email protected] if you are awaiting final results.
How to apply
Before submitting a scholarship application that includes a 500-word statement of support, applicants must have obtained an offer from Robert Gordon University for an undergraduate course. The Scholarship Committee anticipates that candidates will explain why they should be considered for the prize.
