Scholarship Benefits:

This award, which is worth up to $8,000, is intended to provide financial assistance to a student who is majoring in Japanese studies at either the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Scholarship Eligibility:

Students from their home country who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Japanese studies through the School of Languages and Cultures in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are eligible to submit an application.
Japanese studies encompass all aspects of Japanese modern and premodern culture, history, language, society, and literature.
International students from Japan who are studying at the University of Sydney and live or plan to live in the Women’s College are eligible to apply.
