Job Details
- Position: Fruit Picker (Apples & Pears)
- Location: Elwell Fruit Farm, Waytown, Bridport DT6
- Pay: £11.44 per hour
- Duration: Late August/early September to mid-October
- Hours:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
- Part-time: Minimum 16 hours per week
- Start Time: 8 AM daily
The Work
This role involves hand-picking apples and pears outdoors in all weather conditions. It’s important to note:
- The work is physically demanding, requiring fitness and stamina
- Suitable footwear and waterproof clothing are essential
- Some additional evening and weekend hours may occasionally be available (not guaranteed)
