How It Works
Your image is drawn onto an offscreen HTML canvas at your chosen dimensions, then re-exported at your chosen quality using the browser's built-in canvas encoder — no external libraries are needed for this tool. The before/after file sizes shown are the real, measured sizes of your original file and the compressed result.
MyDelsu is an independent student platform and is not affiliated with DELSU administration. This tool is provided for guidance only — always verify results against your official transcript, result slip, or academic regulations.
This tool runs entirely in your browser — your file is selected locally on your device and is never uploaded to a server. Nothing leaves your device at any point.
You select the image locally from your device (this is a local file selection, not a server upload).
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?+
No — everything happens locally in your browser. Your image is never sent to a server.
Why can't I adjust quality for PNG images?+
PNG is a lossless format, so there's no quality slider to trade off — the main way to shrink a PNG here is to resize it with the max width/height fields.
How much smaller will my image get?+
It depends on the image and the quality/size settings you choose. The savings shown are calculated from the real file sizes of your original and compressed image, never an estimate.
Does resizing change the image's aspect ratio?+
No — the image is scaled down to fit within your max width/height while keeping its original proportions, and it's never scaled up beyond its original size.
