Pomodoro Timer
Run focused study sessions using the Pomodoro Technique: work in timed focus blocks separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every few cycles. Start, pause, skip, or reset at any time, and adjust the durations to fit how you actually study.

How It Works
The Pomodoro Technique alternates focused work blocks with short breaks: by default, 25 minutes of focus, then a 5-minute short break, repeating 4 times before a longer 15-minute break resets the cycle. All three durations and the number of cycles before a long break are configurable. The timer counts down live in your browser; when a phase ends it automatically switches to the next one (focus → break → focus...) and plays a short audio cue, plus a browser notification if you've allowed one. Your completed focus-session count resets when you press Reset.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?+
A time-management method that breaks study/work into short, focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after a few intervals - the idea is that short, timed bursts with real breaks help sustain focus better than one long, unbroken session.
Can I change the 25/5/15-minute defaults?+
Yes - the focus duration, short break, long break, and number of cycles before a long break are all editable, so you can match whatever rhythm actually works for you.
Will I get notified when a session ends if I switch tabs?+
You'll hear a short audio cue either way. If you allow browser notifications when you press Start, you'll also get a visible notification even if the tab isn't focused - if you don't grant permission, the audio and on-screen timer still work normally.
What does Skip do versus Reset?+
Skip immediately ends the current phase and moves to the next one (useful if you finish early). Reset stops the timer, clears your completed-session count, and returns to the start of a fresh Focus session.
