JAMB Subject Combination Checker
Enter your 4 JAMB subjects and a course to check whether your combination matches. The checker itself is fully functional, but MyDelsu has not verified DELSU's specific per-course subject combinations yet — until real data is added, results honestly show 'Unable to Determine' rather than a guessed combination.

How It Works
A JAMB subject combination is the specific set of 4 subjects (English Language plus 3 others, in most combinations) a candidate must sit at UTME to be considered for a given course — for example, a science-based course typically requires science subjects, while a humanities course typically requires arts/social-science subjects. Getting the combination wrong at registration is one of the most common reasons candidates are disqualified from a course before scores are even considered, which is why checking it matters. This tool compares your entered subjects against a course's stored required combination, when one exists.
MyDelsu is an independent student platform and is not affiliated with DELSU administration. This tool is provided for guidance only — always verify results against your official transcript, result slip, or academic regulations.
Status: Not-yet-verified for per-course data. The matching logic is fully functional and general-purpose, but DELSU's specific per-course JAMB subject combinations are not yet verified or populated — every course currently resolves to 'Unable to Determine' until real, confirmed data is added.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this show 'Unable to Determine' for my course?+
Because MyDelsu has not been able to verify DELSU's official, published JAMB subject combination for that specific course. Rather than guess and risk you registering for the wrong subjects, the tool honestly says it doesn't know yet. Check your JAMB brochure/registration guidance, or DELSU's official admission office, for the confirmed combination.
Is English Language always required?+
English Language is compulsory for essentially every JAMB UTME combination in Nigeria, regardless of course — that's general, well-established JAMB registration knowledge. The other 3 subjects depend on the specific course.
Can I change my subject combination after registering for JAMB?+
JAMB has specific correction windows for this — check JAMB's official portal/notices for the current process and deadlines, since this isn't something MyDelsu controls or tracks.
