Job Description
Taping and hanging wallboard are both involved in drywalling.
Tapers prepare drywall for painting by using tape and multiple coats of spackle to cover cracks, indentations, and any remaining imperfections after attaching drywall to walls and ceilings inside buildings.
Many drywall installers are skilled at both installation and taping.
They will occasionally use a mechanical applicator, which is a tool that spreads sealing compound on the wall joint while also dispensing and setting tape.
