Pangea, a groundbreaking new pod hotel in the heart of Whistler’s pedestrian Village, is looking for full-time, part-time, and casual hours Housekeepers who can make us sparkle – both literally and metaphorically.

Maintaining the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the entire property will be your primary responsibility as a member of our team.

Pangea will earn and maintain an outstanding reputation because of your attention to detail, and Pangea’s customers will be inspired to submit positive reviews about their experience staying in Canada’s first pod hotel as a result of their stay at Pangea.

In the role of Housekeeper, you are expected to be someone who takes tremendous pleasure in their work and who does not give up until the task at hand is completed (and done to the highest standard).

You will be productive and careful in order to ensure that our pods are always kept clean. In addition, you will be physically strong and motivated, with the capacity to bend, lift, stand, and move continually during the duration of your shift.

You will, in essence, play the role of a “ninja” in the world of pods. You will need to be adaptable, subtle, and methodical in order to make our pods appear as though they have never been used before.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to ensure that all of the public areas, including the sleeping pods, toilets, and other areas, are immaculately clean.

In addition to this, you will need to be efficient, maintain correct bend/lift/OHC standards, and be willing to take on any housekeeping-related responsibilities that may be allocated to you across the property.

REQUIREMENTS.

  • Previous expertise in housekeeping is a valuable asset, but it is not required.
  • Must be able to maintain a physically active lifestyle and be able to lift up to 25 lb.
