A person who works as a custodian at a school is responsible for keeping the building’s structures, its equipment, and its furniture clean.
If you work as a custodian at the school, one of the responsibilities that falls on your shoulders is to ensure that the classrooms, as well as the common areas and offices, are kept clean.

You are also accountable for the upkeep of the cleaning supplies and ensuring that everything that is necessary to clean the school is stocked and ready to go at all times.

Responsibilities
- Clean the stairs, hallways, and floors, then clean, scrape, and wax them.
- trash cans and other waste receptacles devoid of their contents
- Clean the windows, the walls, and the ceilings within.
- Transport bulky items, including furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Bathrooms and their fixtures should be cleaned and disinfected.
- Perform your duties with little to no oversight.
