The Packer is going to be responsible for operating packaging equipment in order to fill product containers, label them, stack them, and stretch wrap them.

Principal Accountabilities:

Be sure you comply with all of the Food Safety (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Health and Safety (WHMIS), and Environmental programs.
It is important to maintain communication with the packers from the prior shift in order to ascertain whether or not there were any issues with the packing portion of the line.
Perform operations on packing equipment, including product container filling and labeling, stacking, and stretch wrapping
Performance of the packaging equipment should be monitored, and any necessary adjustments should be made.
Log sheets should be used for recording and reviewing production information as required.
In the event that there are issues with the lines, the quality of the product, or the vital control points, get in touch with the Operator or the Team Leader.

Changes in product and packaging should be carried out in accordance with the schedule.
Restock the boxes, skids, and liners for the following shift as well as the shift that is now in progress.
As directed or scheduled, clean all work locations and pieces of equipment.
Certification in the operation of pallet handling equipment is essential, and it must be used when necessary to transfer product or packaging materials.
Ensure that all production spaces are kept in a tidy and clean condition at all times.

Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the Production Supervisor or Operator.
