About the Opportunity
The Environmental Service Worker is responsible for keeping the facility’s patients, families, staff, and visitors in an atmosphere that is clean, safe, and functioning. This worker reports to the Assistant Manager of Facility Support Services.
It is the responsibility of the Environmental Services Worker to clean all sections of the unit that are assigned to them, including patient rooms and common areas.
This includes, but is not limited to, wiping down furniture, floors, and stairways with a mop and dustpan, vacuuming furniture, floors, and stairways, buffing, scrubbing, and refinishing floors, rearranging furniture, and switching out curtains and drapes.

About You
If you have any of the following, we would be thrilled to hear from you:
- Work experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
- A dedication to the cause of fostering an environment that values and encourages ethical behavior and healthy organizational practices.
- Ability to keep information confidential that has been demonstrated.
- It’s possible that you’ll need to visit some other locations. It is important that you have access to a dependable automobile.
- Task spray buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and shampooers are some of the pieces of equipment that are operated.
- Possessing skills in additional languages is desirable, with French being the primary focus
- Please double check that your resume is up to date and that it covers all of the appropriate education, experience, training, and certifications.
Hours
- Long assignment, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Approximately 12 month long assignment
Compensation and Incentives
Candidates who are hired could become eligible for our benefits package, which provides coverage for medical, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, in addition to a defined benefit pension plan.
