How It Works
Choose a source type and enter the author(s) as 'Last, First' (semicolon-separated for multiple), year, and title, plus the fields specific to that source type. IEEE style writes authors with initials before the surname (e.g. 'J. Okafor'), titles of articles and webpages in quotation marks, and container details (journal name, volume, issue, pages, publisher) after the title — the format commonly required in engineering and computer science reports, where references are numbered in the order they're cited in the text (e.g. [1]).
