How It Works
The tool builds three sections from your inputs: a generic, editable demographics section (age, gender, level/programme, department); a set of Likert-scale statements built by inserting your topic into common attitude-statement templates (e.g. 'I believe that [topic] affects...'), scored on a Strongly Agree–Strongly Disagree scale; and a set of open-ended prompts (e.g. 'What challenges have you faced in relation to [topic]?'). You choose how many Likert and open-ended items to include. This is rule-based template filling, not an AI writer — no question is written specifically for your study's content, only its wording.

Can I use this questionnaire as-is for my study?+

You (and ideally your supervisor) need to review every item, adapt the generic wording to your specific research questions and hypotheses, and remove or add items so the questionnaire actually measures what your study needs it to measure.
Does this check reliability or validity, like Cronbach's alpha?+
No. This tool only generates draft question text — it doesn't collect data or run any statistical validation. Reliability and validity testing happens after you administer the questionnaire (or a pilot version of it) to real respondents and analyze the results, typically with statistical software.
Can I change the number of demographic questions?+
The demographics section uses a fixed, generic set of items (age, gender, level/programme, department) that you can toggle on or off entirely, then edit freely once you've copied the questionnaire — add or remove fields like marital status, income, or faculty as your study needs.
Why are the Likert items so generic?+
They're intentionally generic templates (e.g. 'I am aware of [topic]', '[Topic] has a significant impact on...') so they can apply to almost any topic. You should rewrite them to reflect the specific constructs, variables, or hypotheses in your actual study rather than submitting them unedited.
