Merchandisers for Coke Canada Bottling work in local grocery stores to assist our clients in keeping Coke Canada Bottling products properly stocked and readily available to customers.
Their responsibilities include filling racks, displays, end caps, and beverage sections with products. Our merchandisers serve as our first point of contact with customers and clients, and they are responsible for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Transporting products from the backroom or storage area to the front of the store using either manual or powered equipment in order to maintain and restock the products in the store’s racks, shelves, displays, and coolers (pallet jack, hand-truck).
- Construct, modify, or take down product displays while conforming to company requirements; maintaining product signs; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective items.
- Perform a series of lifts, carries, and positions of a product (weighing up to 22 kilogrammes or 50 pounds) above shoulder level without help.
- Constant bending at the waist, stooping, and reaching for things in the sky
- Manage the backroom by organizing the stock (product); determining, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (such as pallets, product shells, and so on); and completing any paperwork that may be necessary.
- Be sure to comply with all of Coke Canada Bottling and Store’s policies, particularly those pertaining to the backroom, show floor, replenishment, and equipment, as well as safety.
Maintain a neat and tidy working environment in accordance with the safety and sanitation requirements set forth by the company. - Ensure that your relationships with both your coworkers and your customers are always professional.
- Ability to push and pull product loads containing manual and powered equipment (such as a pallet jack, hand truck, etc.) for a distance of at least 100 yards without help.
- Capability to repeatedly grip and manage items of different size and weight, involving both hand-eye coordination and fine motor abilities.
- Capacity to stand and move about for extended amounts of time.

Qualifications
- It is required that you have access to a personal automobile that you can use while you are on the job.
- A driver’s licence that is still current and has a spotless driving record, meaning that there have been no major infractions in the past three years
- Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience working in the grocery, retail, or warehousing industries, or a field linked to these.
- Preferred qualifications include previous experience operating manual or powered pallet jacks.
